Hey there, name is JC Dobson your curl and color specialist. I'm also a wife and mom of two adult children and my cutie little grandchild. I moved here from Alaska about 15 years ago and now dedicated to empowering the curly women of Norman, OK.

It’s a known fact that I’m also a good cook. I enjoy a good sparkling water and I know good Boba when I taste it (Strawberry flavored black tea with light ice & boba pearls to be specific). Just so you know there’s never been a massage table I didn't like or a true crime podcast not worth my time. My laptop has about 23 tabs open at any given time, decorating and great perfumes is my jam. I’m currently eyeballing MFK Grand Soir in my cart.

With 20+ years as a stylist I also find great fulfillment educating others in the industry and in salon guests. I regularly travel to teach other salon pros and getting education. This keeps me fresh and executing for the salon . My specialties are simple curl care, adaptive curly cuts and dimensional color.

Since life is best, well lived, I enjoy a simple hair routine that keeps it healthy and cute. As an 80’s baby the salon air is always filled with the best 80's & 90’s R&B, a warm sweet fragrance and fun meaningful banter. Connecting with my VIP's during my salon events is always a delight. So far we've made vision boards, candles and perfume oils in 12 months and don't plan on stopping.

It' s my belief that it’s not enough to just create cute hair, anyone can do that. The true heart of the operation is to create partnership. This will help ensure healthy beautiful hair for the long-term so you never feel stagnant. So it’s my pleasure to make it look easy in the salon so it IS easy at home. One of my philosophies is, If it’s not simple they won’t do it. So let's make it simple!
